Back of digipak progress 3

I have added polaroids to follow on from my plan for the inside of the digipak. I plan to put a drop shadow on to give the effect that it is scattered.

I have put numbers next to each song title and put a barcode on the bottom corner as this is a common convention of a digipak. I have wrote some copyright infringement details on the bottom and created my own logo for the republic records.

I used dafont and used the same font as I have for the advertisement and the front of the digipak. A lot of albums have 10-12 songs on so therefore I went with 10.

republic records logo

instead of copying the logo for a record company, I have created my own version of the Republic Records logo on Photoshop using simple box tools and text in the font which is similar to what their logo uses.

This will be used on the back of the digipak as it is a common feature.

Creating polaroids for inside of digipak

I created a polaroid template to use to put photos inside. I plan to use photos of my couple in everyday life so that the photos are as realistic as possible for a real couple. This follows the storyline of the music video as they will be memories of the couple.

Advertisement/Poster Progress 2

Underneath the text I already previously had, I have added a release date, single name and also different ways you can get the album. I have done this in all the same font as "FEARLESS" (the band name) to make it match. Adding in different ways of getting the album would make people more likely to buy it because some people may prefer digital to a deluxe CD or some people may want the album in vinyl as it is becoming increasingly popular nowadays.
I plan on taking the photos for this ancillary task during the next couple of weeks when my actors are free to do so.

Advertisement/Poster Progress 1

I have started my ancillary tasks. I started with my advertisement that would go in a magazine to advertise the album. I used dafont.com to get a font I was happy with and decided to use Amethyst font. It gives the font a bit more of an edge instead of just being plain. I think it goes with the genre of music. I have used a different font for the words "The Debut Album" as I did not want every single piece of text to be the same font as it wouldn't look too good and more than one font usually looks better. I plan to put the photograph on the top of the text and add more text underneath stating a song that is on the album as a technique to sell and also the release date.
