I found a template online to place my digipak onto. I have placed the digipak inside into it as that has been finished for a while. I then put the spine on the front part of it and will place the front and back onto it so that when it prints, it can be folded into a realistic folding digipak. there is no information on the inside of the digipak as there is usually a booklet in a digipak with all the information needed.
Taylzz1http://www.blogger.com/profile/09448968073913489427noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8681292086671671892.post-9729736973320277192016-03-10T09:08:00.004-08:002016-03-10T09:09:13.524-08:00Digipak progress 6

I have decreased the saturation of Lucy's body and clothing however her face was de-saturated too much so I have selected it to reapply the saturation. I have added the barrier in between them to create distance between them. I have placed Lucy onto the background however she looks too bright against the background and next to Ellis. I plan on changing the saturation and brightness of her body but not her face and to split the box in half to create a sense of distance to link with the video.Taylzz1http://www.blogger.com/profile/09448968073913489427noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8681292086671671892.post-66929820848567073602016-03-10T08:08:00.000-08:002016-03-10T08:46:45.668-08:00editing lucy for advert

I have placed everything where I like it ready for the placement of the photograph of Lucy. I have made sure everything is central and created my own logos for HMV and Republic Records. I changed the letters myself by adding extra lines onto Fearless to make it stand out more and make it look original. I have placed Ellis in a white box as inspired by the white border of Foxes "All I Need" album cover.
I am using this as a style model for my digipak with the way it is monochrome on the cover (which I will slightly be following) and then full of colour on the inside which I will be doing with the overlapping polaroids.
Taylzz1http://www.blogger.com/profile/09448968073913489427noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8681292086671671892.post-39364216438246146772016-03-04T05:05:00.001-08:002016-03-10T08:54:44.362-08:00Digipak and advert progress 4

I added a very subtle gradient onto the background of the poster and digipak to make it look like it had more depth. I took this idea from the "Perfect" single cover by One Direction. the plain black was too 2D.Taylzz1http://www.blogger.com/profile/09448968073913489427noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8681292086671671892.post-82073962830780034882016-03-04T05:03:00.000-08:002016-03-04T05:03:08.895-08:00digipak style modelsthese are the digipaks I am using as partial style models to my own. I am also taking these into consideration whilst making my advert as the digipak and adverts of a certain album will usually look very similar.
This gives a sense of distance which links to the music video of them being apart.

I have updated the digipak with a photograph of Ellis. I am still to take photographs of Lucy to use on both the digipak and advert.

I am keeping it very minimalistic as covers of digipaks aren't usually very packed with text.Taylzz1http://www.blogger.com/profile/09448968073913489427noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8681292086671671892.post-59910144212234113792016-03-04T04:40:00.001-08:002016-03-10T08:53:30.724-08:00Magazine Advert Progress 3I have placed the photograph of Ellis onto the advertisement however cut it off with a square box as it did not look right with his whole body underneath the text layers. I need to take photographs of Lucy to use on this however the rest is done and not much adjustment should need to be made after the photos are taken and edited ready to put on the poster and digipak.

I created the hmv logo myself as it is a common feature on an album advertisement that it will have where to buy the product from. I typed out "hmv" and went through the fonts until I got the right font. I then colour picked the colour from the existing hmv logo to make this more realistic.
