Shot Ideas

I have made a mindmap of some ideas I may use in my music video. I have decided activities the couple may do in the music video or places they may end up and also added a bit into the storyline of the music video with what time that part will fit in.

Character Theory

Advertisement Update

I have decided to disguard the advertisement I was creating as the photos and layout did not match the way I wanted it to look. I plan to take new photographs of Lucy and Ellis and start a new advertisement based on a style model.

Lana Del Rey's "Born To Die" advertisement is very simple and does not have a lot of writing on it. It is not overcrowded and has a very limited colour scheme. My photograph inspiration comes from the duo who sings the song of my music video. They have an urban romance vibe to them which I like and their photographs show this, which is why I am using them as inspiration.

Target - A

To achieve my target my research, planning and evaluation must be detailed, effectively communicated and presented digitally, using a wide variety of formats. I need detailed research into similar products and target audience and to show the process of planning by including excellent work on shotlists, drafts, storyboards, scripts, locations and props. I need to show full evidence of the research and
planning informing the construction process.
My evaluation must reflect my excellent understanding of forms and conventions, an understanding of the use of new media throughout the stages of production, the way my ancillary and primary tasks combine effectively. There will be an excellent understanding of the significance of audience feedback.
My production work, across the formats, will demonstrates excellent creativity and imagination as I seek to make them as convincing as possible and it will also reflect my mastery in technical skills such as controlled use of the camera, attention to framing, variety of shot sizes, close attention to mise-en-scène, appropriate transitions and use of sound.
